Ultrasonic pipe testing: Hot rolled coils are checked for correct thickness. All weldments, whenever specified will be inspected for flaw.

X-ray pipe testing: Weld seams at pipe ends and mitre welds of fittings are X-rayed as specified based on the requirement.

Visual and dimensional pipe testing: The above pipe testing will be conducted on all pipes for compliance with the specified tolerances.

Hydrostatic pipe testing: All water pipes are subjected to an internal hydrostatic pressure test.

Holiday pipe testing: All coated and painted pipes are subjected to pinhole test at a specified voltage.

Cube compression pipe testing: Test cubes of the same material as used for the pipe lining are subjected to cube crushing test.

Macro pipe testing: Macro specimens are regularly taken from the weldment to monitor the weld parameters.

Mechanical pipe testing: Mechanical pipe testing procedure shall confirm to the requirements of standards specified by the requirement. These tests shall include tensile and bend and shall be made on specimens at the specified frequency.
